The Role

Potential opportunities will involve teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a particular focus on Physics. Successful candidates will play an active role in supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes while developing curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm for Science.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach Physics as a specialism and contribute to the wider Science curriculum
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider life of the school and the development of the Science departmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in Physics
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
