We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Harlow, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Physics Teacher. This Harlow school is committed to delivering high-quality science education, inspiring curiosity and critical thinking while supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes across Key Stages.

Job Overview:

This school caters for students aged 11-16.
Full-time, Monday - Friday, Physics Teacher role.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teach Physics as your specialist subject while contributing to the wider Science curriculum where required.
Inspire students through practical experiments and engaging lessons that develop scientific enquiry, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team.
Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and STEM enrichment opportunities.

This Physics Teacher role in Harlow offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious environment, with a strong focus on professional development and career progression. You will play a key role in developing students' understanding of Physics, encouraging curiosity about the world around them and preparing them for further study and future careers in STEM.

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
Experience teaching Physics at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
A passion for Physics and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
