GSL Education are looking to hire a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a school in Shepway. The Science Teacher role provides the perfect platform to share your passion for science and ignite students' curiosity through engaging and innovative teaching methods.

The succesfull Science Teacher will play a crucial role in delivering dynamic and interactive lessons that inspire students to explore the wonders of the natural world. From Biology and Chemistry to Physics, they will engage students in hands-on experiments, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking, fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts and principles.

Science Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons that align with the national curriculum and promote active learning and inquiry-based exploration.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and explore scientific concepts through practical experiments and demonstrations.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs and interests of students, ensuring all learners are able to access and succeed in science.
Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular connections that enrich the science curriculum and promote holistic learning experiences.
Requirements for the Science Teacher role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, chemistry, physics, or general science).
Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for scientific inquiry and exploration.
Strong subject knowledge and expertise in one or more scientific disciplines, along with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
A commitment to promoting STEM education and encouraging diversity and inclusion in the field of science.
