Teaching Personnel is currently looking to recruit a Science teacher for a rare vacancy that has come about due to a late resignation within the department. The school is seeking an individual with experience teaching Science in a secondary school environment.
Summary of the role:
Full-time Science teacher – September 2024
Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale
Teaching Science to students up to KS4 ranging in ability
Work alongside an experienced team of professionals and a supportive Senior Leadership Team
The successful Science teacher will be taken on a 12-month contract initially; however, there is the opportunity to be taken on permanently. This will be reviewed towards the end of the school year with the head of the Science department. The school is looking for a Science teacher who can exercise effective behaviour management skills and is eager to work within a supportive school striving towards outstanding status.

This 11-16 school is based in Central Northampton, with around 1100 students on roll. It is easily accessible via the A43 and A45 and has strong public transport links due to being local to the bus/train station.
