£125 - £189 per day (Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS)

Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding, Science Teacher for a secondary school based in Preston, Lancashire to start September 2024.

The role

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level.

The role is due to commence from September 2024, due to a resignation. The school have chosen to start the role on a temporary basis with the option to transfer to a permanent contract from January 2025. The school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

This school in Burnley was recently graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED and praised for excellent levels of teaching as well as good behaviour within the school. The successful Science Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the Science specialism Teacher role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

• Be adaptable and flexible

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
