If so, GSL Education are providing a great opportunity for you to work at a Client School located in Ashington, Northumberland starting in immediately.
Science Teacher Responsibilities:
Designing and developing science curriculum in line with national and local standards, ensuring it is engaging, age-appropriate, and meets the needs of diverse learners.
Delivering high-quality science instruction, utilizing a range of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Designing and implementing assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
Identifying and addressing the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities.
Collaborating with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.
Science Teacher Requirements:
PGCE in Secondary Science with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
GCSE, Biology, Physics and Chemistry teaching experience in the last 2 years is essential.
Have the capability to foster curiosity and interest for the subject.
Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
Be committed to child protection, safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
