Here at Prinicpal Education we are looking for a "Outstanding " Science teacher to join one of our growing Acadmeys out in Enfield in Septmeber. 

This secoadary school is a growing Muti Acadmey trust that has been open for 2 years and is growing, this school has another school located in Finchley which has been given a OfSTED rating of " Outstanding". The school is about to go thorugh it first batch of GCSE student's which is very excititng time for the school. 

Key responsibiltys:

Planning and delivering lessons: Designing engaging and informative lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and objectives. This includes selecting appropriate teaching materials, resources, and activities to facilitate learning.
Teaching science concepts: Explaining scientific principles, theories, and concepts in a clear and understandable manner, catering to the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
Demonstrating experiments: Conducting hands-on experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific concepts and promote inquiry-based learning. Ensuring safety protocols are followed during laboratory activities.
Assessing student progress: Evaluating student understanding through quizzes, tests, projects, and other assessment methods. Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and performance.
Differentiating instruction: Adapting teaching strategies and materials to accommodate the varying needs, interests, and learning styles of individual students. Providing additional support or challenges as needed.
Managing classroom: Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and engaging in scientific inquiry. Establishing and enforcing classroom rules and routines to maintain order and discipline.
Collaborating with colleagues: Working closely with other teachers, administrators, and educational professionals to align curriculum, share best practices, and support student success.
Communicating with parents/guardians: Keeping parents/guardians informed about their child's progress, academic performance, and any concerns or challenges. Providing opportunities for parent-teacher conferences and communication channels for ongoing dialogue.
Professional development: Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in science education. Participating in workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Fostering a love for science: Inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for scientific inquiry among students. Encouraging them to explore and appreciate the natural world and its wonders.

You must have: 

Qaulifed teacher with QTS 
At least 3 years expeirenced teaching
Stong track record of results 
DBS ( Valid or on update service )
