TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Wiltshire, who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher for a long-term position starting in September. This lovely secondary school is set within a beautiful rural location and is easily commutable from North Swindon, Shrivenham and Faringdon. The school has a strong focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Science Teacher on a long-term basis, teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Science Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress and maintain excellent classroom standards throughout the role.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
• QTS with a Science specialism
• Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive and engaging teaching approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to supporting student achievement
