Secondary Science Teacher (KS3 - KS4)

Location: Telford

Salary: £130 – £240 per day / £650 - £1200 per week (Dependant on Experience / MPS/UPS)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (temp to perm)

Start Date: September 2026

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Do you have the enthusiasm, subject knowledge, and drive to inspire the next generation of scientists?

We are currently working with a secondary school that has approached us regarding a Science teaching vacancy for a September 2026 start. At this stage, the school has not specified a preferred Science specialism, and as such, we are keen to speak with qualified Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science teachers who may be interested in the opportunity.

The school is looking to begin the interview and trial process in the coming months and welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Plan and prepare differentiated lessons that support and challenge students of all abilities.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, implementing interventions where appropriate.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing.

Contribute to the wider school community and support the continued development of the Science curriculum.

What We Are Looking For (Person Specification):

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.

A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.

Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the current KS3/KS4 National Curriculum.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for students.

ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
