Grade A Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Peterborough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher or ECT looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Plan, prepare and mark lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and support academic achievement.
* Work collaboratively with the wider Science department.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant subject qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
* Experience teaching Science within a secondary school.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
