Description:

An Independent School in Gateshead requires a Science Teacher. This is an independent boys school with a strong and supportive management team. The school is very happy to talk to Teachers with QTS and graduates who have Science related degrees and this would be an ideal position for an ECT or a Teacher mid career. This position is Monday to Thursday and long term with the potential to go permanent.
The ideal candidate would:
* Have good classroom management skills
* Have a passion for teaching Science
* Have excellent subject knowledge
* Be able to organise themselves
* Be able to plan effective, engaging Science lessons.
We are keen to hear from both experienced Physical Education teachers or ECTs.
To apply for a Science teaching position with Schools Mutual Services you must hold QTS or QTLS.
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
