Science Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a science graduate who is motivated to lead a career in teaching and needs experience of working in a school setting to aid in a future teacher training application?
Could you use your skills to improve the attainment levels of GCSE Science students as they progress towards their GCSE examinations?

*** 1:1 and small group support for under-achieving GCSE Science students.
*** ‘Good’ secondary school.
Requirements:
At least a bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
Strong knowledge of scientific concepts.
Passion for the education of students aged 11-16.
Dedication to the learning and wellbeing of young people.
A warm, friendly personality.
Previous experience of working with students or in a school setting is beneficial, but not mandatory.
The Role
Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivering of engaging GCSE Science lessons.
Assessing students’ work and providing constructive feedback.
Tracking student progress and creating support strategies.
Aiding staff in running extracurricular activities.
Providing 1-2-1 and small group interventions to improve the attainment of GCSE Science students.
Participating in staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
