Description:

Axcis Education is currently recruiting for Support Worker in the Ross-on-Wye area to start work in September 2026. Axcis Education is working on behalf of educational settings in the local area for a range of long term and short term placements. We are currently searching for a long-term placement, in a school Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm during term time only, with a start date of September 2026.

Your role will involve working with a student with Special educational needs, in and out of the classroom, this includes support in a student ‘hub’ . Day to day, you will help these students stay focused on their lessons, build up rapport with school staff and students and support teachers on adapting lessons to suit the childs needs.

You do not need direct experience working in a classroom setting, although this would be a huge bonus. We do need some relevant experience with young people, or children or with SEND.

We pay £14.25 per hour.
