School Science Technician needed for a 'Outstanding' rated secondary school in Redditch
Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing into September 2024 academic year!
Required to start as soon as possible and into the new academic year in September, this popular and 'Outstanding' rated school are seeking an enthusiastic Science Technician for a full time post (5 days per week).
This role requires a Science Technician who ideally has previous experience in the field however this school are happy to take someone who has carried out this role in a non school setting. This role is also very well suited to those with Biomedical Science degrees etc.
Duties would include setting up, collecting, and testing samples, maintaining, calibrating, and cleaning equipment, providing technical support, writing reports, reviews and summaries, carrying out risk assessments and ordering & maintain stock levels.
A science background is essential for the role, the school will not consider applicants that have not had experience in the field.

Applicants need to have:
Experience in lab work
COSHH Certificate
A background in Science
