Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a School Nurse at Lavender Health and Social Care. The School Nurse will be responsible for providing medical care and support to students in school settings. The role involves conducting health assessments, administering medication, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronic illnesses, and promoting healthy lifestyles. While the role is primarily located in the London brough of Newham Area, It is a hybrid role.
Qualifications
* School Nursing, Nursing, and Pediatrics skills
* Experience in school health and medicine
* Knowledge of child and adolescent development
* Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Valid nursing license and registration
* Experience in managing chronic illnesses and emergencies
* First Aid and CPR certification
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
* Experience with electronic medical record systems
* Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
