No previous experience is required. We will provide full training, support your professional studies, and help you develop the skills needed for a successful career in accounting and bookkeeping.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Trainee Bookkeeper, you'll learn how to:
* Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
* Assist with data entry, purchase invoices and sales invoices
* Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
* Support the preparation of VAT returns and management reports
* Use leading accounting software packages and digital bookkeeping systems
* Work alongside experienced bookkeepers and accountants while developing your skills and knowledge
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
* Has a genuine interest in finance, accounting or business
* Is organised and pays close attention to detail
* Has good communication and teamwork skills
* Is confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications
* Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
* Ideally has GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, although this is not essential
