Start Date: ASAP (subject to Enhanced DBS clearance)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic School IT Technician to join a school in Todmorden on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys working in an educational environment and providing essential technical support to staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT support to teaching and support staff.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops and other IT equipment.
Support classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards and audio-visual equipment.
Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
Ensure IT systems are running efficiently and securely.
Assist with general IT maintenance and technical projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in an IT Technician or IT Support role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working within a school or educational setting would be advantageous.
