As a key member of the catering team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students and staff. Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with dietary requirements and health and safety regulations
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Collaborating with the catering team to develop innovative and appealing menu options that meet the nutritional needs of students
Serving meals to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management to ensure sufficient supplies are available
Supporting the catering manager with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and compliance documentationRequirements:

Previous experience working in a school or commercial kitchen environment is desirable
A passion for food and a commitment to promoting healthy eating habits among students
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
