School Cook / Catering Assistant, job vacancy, Chorley, Lancashire. Full Time, Permanent, Term Time Only.

Duties

Your role of Cook will be to passionately prepare good quality, healthy food catering for a wide range of dietary needs. You will continuously change the menu and come up with fresh ideas and encouraging everyone to eat well and display a passion for cooking.

* Provide a balance and healthy meal menu to a high standard.

* Constantly ensure you are working to current regulations and standards are fully met.

* Supervising and supporting with any training needs for the management team.

* Creating menus, preparing, and cooking home cooked food.

* Ensure the efficient running of the kitchen.

* Liaising with suppliers and controlling and monitoring of stock.

* Always maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.

Criteria
