Salary: £11 - 13 an hour
Currently recruiting a temp to perm School Cleaner to join an outstanding SEND School located in the London Borough of Bromley. You will be working 10 hours a week Monday to Friday 4pm-6pm. This School Cleaner post is to start with immediate effect.
The successful School Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the school, ensuring that all areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Additionally ensuring high standards of cleaning within the classrooms, toilets, hallways and reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning tasks in line with the school's cleaning schedule.
Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Handle and store cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH regulations.
Use equipment such as hoovers and floor polishers to clean classrooms, corridors, and other areas of the school.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate person.
Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard, paying particular attention to SEND classrooms.
Work as part of a team to ensure that the school is cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience in a cleaning role.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
Experience of cleaning in a SEND school environment would be an advantage.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good clear communication skills (written & oral).
Ability to work to deadlines.
