Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to join our client’s team in the Gloucestershire area. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the school premises are maintained to a high level, providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform cleaning duties according to established procedures and schedules, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
* Clean and disinfect washrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
* Empty and dispose of waste bins and recyclables in designated areas.
* Ensure that cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely and appropriately.
* Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures
* Work collaboratively with other members of the cleaning team to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred
* Enhanced DBS check is essential.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
* Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required.
