TeacherActive is looking for a reliable School Cleaner to support a school in S44. Your work will help keep the school clean, hygienic and ready for pupils and staff each day.
What does the role involve?
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping surfaces.
Emptying bins and replenishing hygiene supplies.
Using cleaning products and equipment safely.
Following the school’s cleaning schedule and health and safety procedures.
Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or supply shortages.
The successful applicant will have:
Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar setting.
Good attention to detail and pride in their work.
A reliable, punctual approach.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An understanding of safe cleaning practices, including COSHH.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
