About the Role:
We are seeking dependable Cleaners to help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff. You'll work as part of a wider school cleaning or premises team, ensuring classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and communal areas are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school
* Follow cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines
* Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Report maintenance, damage, or health and safety concerns
* Work effectively as part of the school cleaning team
What We're Looking For:
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
* A reliable, hardworking, and conscientious approach
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of hygiene and health and safety practices
* A professional and positive attitude
* A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous experience working within a school or education setting
* Commercial or facilities cleaning experience
* Knowledge of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
