Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We're looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to support a school in Warrington, ensuring classrooms, communal areas, and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to join a school site team, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff. You'll be responsible for cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas, working as part of a wider premises and cleaning team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
* Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
* Follow appropriate cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines
* Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Report any maintenance, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate member of staff
* Work effectively as part of the school cleaning team
What We're Looking For:
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
* A reliable, hardworking, and conscientious approach
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of hygiene and health and safety practices
* A professional and positive attitude
* A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous experience working in a school or education setting
* Previous commercial or facilities cleaning experience
* Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals
