Description:
Our well established Client based in Bean area is currently looking for a experienced School Caretaker.
For this position the right candidate must have Enhanced DBS and Level 2/3 Diploma (or equivalent) and proficient technical and practical skills.
This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate, which will currently be during term time only.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Responsible for the security, maintenance and cleaning of the school.
Designated key holder, providing out of hours and emergency access to the school sites.
Contribution to the management of the premises budget.
Undertaking minor repairs and decorations.
Follow health and safety regulations (COSHH).
Operating check systems (heating, cooling, lighting and security).
Handle small amounts of cash for the purchase of materials to carry out repairs.This is Monday to Friday role covering 37.5 hours a week. This depending on the needs of the school.
