Are you an experienced School Site Supervisor /school caretaker currently looking for a new and exciting opportunity in Coventry? Or are you an experienced maintenance person looking to pursue a career in the education sector?
Twenty4Seven Education are recruiting a site supervisors/school caretakers for secondary and primary schools across Coventry. The positions we have are to start immediately and are a mixture of full time and part time and long term and temp to perm positions.
Applicants must have previous experience as a school caretaker/school site supervisor or have transferable experience from a similar sector. Applicants must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, strong maintenance skills and ideally have a trade behind them. The role is to start as soon as possible and applicants must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new one.
The successful school site supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of 3 sites that are all close to each other in Coventry. Duties will include:
* Closing and locking up the school site
* Supervising cleaning staff.
* Stock check and ordering supplies
* Fire alarm testing
* General site maintenance and repairs
* Liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs
* Preparing the school site for larger events, e.g., Parents’ Evening.
