Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Bishop Auckland to assist then in finding a School Caretaker ASAP. The school ideally would like to meet and training someone up before the start of the school holidays - when the role will officially begin.

The ideal candidate will be willing to work split shifts to open the premises on a morning and then return on an evening to lock up.

Responsibilities

* Responsible key holder - opening and closing premises, monitoring the property

* Carrying out minor repairs and maintaining premises to ensure safety

* Managing outdoor areas and general upkeep of grounds

* To use own initiative and take the lead

Requirements

* Experience in building maintenance / cleaning / plumbing / gardening

* Confident in working alone

* Provide 2 employment or educational references

* To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
