School Caretaker - East London - Full Time - Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a busy and supportive school in East London on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous site, premises, or caretaker experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised school environment.
The school is looking for somebody dependable who can work independently, use their own initiative, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
The Role:
Opening and securing the school site daily
Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring the school premises remain clean, safe, and secure
Setting up classrooms, halls, and school events when required
Monitoring health & safety around the site
Liaising with contractors and school staff
Reporting maintenance and site issues promptlyThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous caretaker, premises, or maintenance experience
Be reliable, hardworking, and organised
Be able to work independently and use their own initiative
Have a good understanding of health & safety procedures
Be approachable and professional within a school environment
Be willing to support with the general upkeep of the school siteThe Role Offers:
