Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school based in Shrewsbury, we are searching for a dedicated and reliable caretaker to join them as soon as possible. This position is essential to the smooth running and maintenance of the school.
Respons
• Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the school is in good repair and safe for students and staff.
• Carry out DIY tasks such as minor repairs and possibly some painting.
• Complete daily and weekly maintenance checklists to ensure all areas of the school are functioning properly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Req
• Proven DIY skills and experience with general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
Working
• Wednesday 12.30pm to 4.15pm
• Thursday 8.15am to 4.15pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break
• Friday 8.15am to 4.15pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break
