SCHOOL CARETAKER

Prospero Teaching are working on behalf of a large SEN School located in Bournemouth to recruit a responsible caretaker to start as soon as possible.

As a caretaker within the school, you will be expected to work within guidelines and have a good knowledge of and previous experience working with the varying responsibilities to include:

- Ensure the good upkeep and security of the school premises, buildings and grounds

- Undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance and decorating

- Provide a first class service to hirers of our artificial turf pitch and other school facilities

- Work in a flexible manner for the needs of students and the school

This role is a 37 hour contract.

Hours 7.30am-18.00pm (37 hours per week)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

To have some experience of being a caretaker within the public sector/school
To have completed a safeguarding course or a willingness to undertake a safeguarding course.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
