School Business Manager
Location: Rainham, Kent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary (with possibility of permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Academics is currently recruiting for an experienced School Business Manager to join a welcoming school in Rainham, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised professional with strong school-based experience to take a key role in the leadership and management of school operations.
The Role
Overseeing the operational management of school finances, HR, premises and administration.
Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure the effective use of school resources.
Managing budgets, financial reporting and compliance.
Supporting staff management processes and maintaining efficient administrative systems.
Ensuring school policies and procedures are followed across operational areas.
Playing a key role in the smooth running of the school.
Requirements
Previous experience in a school-based Business Manager role or similar is essential.
Experience using school management systems such as SIMS and/or Arbor is essential.
Strong knowledge of school operations, safeguarding procedures and administrative processes.
Excellent organisational, financial and leadership skills.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
An Enhanced DBS.
Available to start ASAP, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
