At Hightown Housing Association, we are passionate about providing high-quality homes and supporting people to live independently. We’re looking for a Resident Scheme Manager to join our friendly retirement housing scheme at Moatview Court. Please note, this is a live in position.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll support residents aged 60+, helping to create a safe, welcoming and vibrant community.
What you will be doing
Supporting residents’ wellbeing through regular contact and day-to-day oversight
Responding to emergency calls and coordinating support when needed
Encouraging social activities and building a strong inclusive community spirit
Liaising with families, GPs and external agencies to support residents
Overseeing communal areas and working with contractors to maintain high standards
Carrying out health & safety checks and ensuring compliance
About you
Experience working with older people or a similar group
Calm and confident in emergencies
Compassionate, approachable and able to build strong relationships
Organised and able to work independently
Strong collaborative skills
Passionate about delivering excellent service
