Scheduling Planner/Customer Contact

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Scheduling Planner/Customer Contact to join our team in Kidderminster. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our scheduling department, ensuring the efficient planning and scheduling of work for our engineers as they install solar panels on new build houses across the UK. You will be a primary contact for our customers, keeping them updated on schedules, delivery times, and providing courtesy calls upon job completion. Your role is crucial in maximising productivity and efficiency within our installations team.

You will work closely with customers to inform them of installation dates, times of arrival, and completion updates daily. Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to key performance indicators (KPIs), such as responding to calls and email requests within one hour, planning minimum production targets, and maintaining high levels of customer communication.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with site managers and field team members.
• A strong proactive approach to telephone and email communication.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs.
• Experience in handling high volumes of calls and emails.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to create reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft programs and ERP systems; experience with Netsuite/Fieldaware is advantageous.
• The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High standards of written and verbal communication.
• Initiative and problem-solving skills.
