We are currently looking for Scaffold Design Engineer or Temporary works design to join a growing Scaffold Design Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging onshore and offshore projects, delivering high-quality and innovative scaffold design solutions.

The Role

As a Temporary works design or Scaffold Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and innovative scaffold design solutions across a range of projects. Working closely with internal teams, clients, and site personnel, you will contribute to both onshore and offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver scaffold design or temporary works design engineering services across multiple projects.
Design complex and large-scale access and load-bearing scaffolds
Collaborate with clients and site teams to develop effective design solutions
Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
Conduct site surveys (onshore & offshore) and provide follow-up reports
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, procedures, and safety regulations
Support development of scaffold design workpacks.
Promote innovative access solutions across the wider business
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and project teams.

✅ What We're Looking For

Essential:

Engineering background (Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or similar)
HND (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline
Strong AutoCAD skills
Solid understanding of structural mechanics and engineering principles

Desirable:

Experience in scaffold or temporary works design
Knowledge of scaffold systems and components
Degree qualified (BEng/MEng)
Experience with structural analysis software
3D CAD modelling skills
