We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SCADA Engineer to join the Engineering Team within the Engineering Competency Centre.

EDF Renewables is committed to increasing its assets under operation to c.5GW by 2030. The Control & SCADA Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering Engineering Excellence in Control & SCADA Engineering services, contributing to the company's rapid growth and diversification across technologies.

Key Responsibilities

As a SCADA Engineer, you will:

Uphold the highest level of standards to comply with all Zero Harm requirements.
Undertake Control & SCADA Engineering activities diligently and professionally.
Maintain a suitable level of expertise in Control & SCADA Engineering.
Provide Control & SCADA Engineering support across all EDF-R Directorates.
Embed Engineering excellence and operational experience in Control & SCADA Engineering activities.
Consider risk and lifetime costs in all Engineering activities.Key Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven success in delivering projects/programmes and establishing/managing relationships.
Strong commitment to safety, health, environment, and quality.
Minimum of an HNC/HND in C & I/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
Accreditation under WTSR and HVSR is desirable.
NEBOSH or IOSH (or equivalent) is desirable.
Specialist in Control & SCADA Engineering discipline within the renewable energy or similar sector.
Excellent at building successful relationships with external partners, peers, stakeholders, and reporting line.
Good command of Microsoft Office package.
Flexibility to travel around the UK and overseas as the role requires.
Full clean UK driving licence.
Excellent (English) oral and written communication skills.Why Join Us?
