SC Cleared Electrician
Location: Southwest
Rate: £28 - £33 hourly rate
Duration: Ongoing
The Role
We are currently looking for a fully qualified, SC Cleared Electrician to join a busy project team working on a secure site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across the site.
* Install and maintain electrical systems, containment, cabling, lighting and associated equipment.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
* Carry out inspection, testing and fault finding where required.
* Complete electrical works in accordance with current regulations and project specifications.
* Work closely with other trades and site management to ensure works are completed safely and on programme.
* Complete relevant paperwork, permits and site documentation.
* Maintain a high standard of health, safety and quality at all times.
Requirements
* Fully qualified Electrician – NVQ Level 3 / equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* AM2 where applicable.
* Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
* Valid SC Clearance – essential.
* Relevant commercial/industrial or construction electrical experience.
* Strong understanding of electrical health & safety requirements.
* Able to work independently and as part of a wider site team
