SC Cleared Data Architect - Outside IR35 - 6 Months - Hybrid - London
Role Summary:
SR2 is very pleased with a consultancy who have partnered with a major UK bank for a 6-month project. This project will be working alongside incredible consultants and work with cutting-edge technology within the financial space.
Responsibilities:
Lead solution design for complex projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps to guide the evolution of the Bank's technology landscape.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending adoption where appropriate.
Support the development and future planning of the Bank's enterprise architecture, driving the growth of our Architecture practice.Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong experience in producing architectural blueprints and solution design documentation.
Expertise in architectural thinking, evaluating design options, and developing abstracted views of processes and systems.
Extensive experience with document and records management solutions, including migration to Office 365.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their use in Banking/Financial Services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Experience with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
Experience designing solutions for cloud environments or migrating existing solutions to the cloud.
Experience working in Large Enterprises or significant public sector organizations.Qualifications:
CITP or CEng or equivalent rounded IT experience.
TOGAF or equivalent related business technology architect qualification.
Membership of relevant architecture/IT professional associations (e.g., BCS, IASA)
