£15.90 per hour | Temp to Perm | Career Progression | Engineering & Manufacturing

Our client in Avonmouth (BS11) is expanding and seeking skilled operatives with experience using band saws, circular saws, or bar saws. Job Overview

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11)
Pay: £15.90 per hour (weekly pay)
Hours: Rotating shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (Mon-Fri)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Industry: Engineering, Manufacturing, Metal Cutting
Progression: Full training + long‑term development

Key Responsibilities

Operating saws to cut metal materials to precise customer specifications
Using band saws, with circular saw or bar saw experience also welcomed
Completing general warehouse and production duties
Maintaining accuracy, quality, and safe working practices at all times
Following all company procedures and production guidelines

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Saw Operative, Machine Operative, or Metal Cutter
Experience operating band saws (metal cutting preferred)
Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work rotating shifts
