Sawyer (Table Saw & Automated Crosscut Saw Experience)

Location: Wednesbury

Hours:

*

Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm

*

Friday: 7:00am–12:00pm

*

Total: 39 hours per week

*

Pay: £12.81 per hour

A manufacturing site in Wednesbury is looking for an experienced Sawyer to join its production team. You’ll be responsible for operating both traditional table saws and automated crosscut saws, ensuring materials are cut accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operate table saws and automated crosscut saws

*

Read and interpret cutting lists, drawings, and job specifications

*

Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance

*

Maintain a clean, safe working environment

*

Work with the production team to meet daily targets

Proven experience with both saw types

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Able to work independently and as part of a team

*

Reliable, punctual, and quality‑focused
