As a SAP Warehouse Management Consultant, your primary purpose is to enhance and optimise our stock management systems, aligning with Thames Water's overarching goals. You will have deep engagement in process analysis, system design, and development, ensuring that our warehouse management and logistics operations are streamlined and efficient. By configuring, testing, and implementing new solutions within the SAP framework, you contribute significantly to the overall effectiveness of our inventory management processes.

You will need to cultivate and maintain key relationships to ensure success. Among these, close collaboration with Programme Managers is essential for aligning project objectives and timelines.

What you will be doing as SAP Warehouse Management Consultant

Analyse and optimise warehouse and logistics processes within the SAP environment.
Assist with solution strategies for business requirements, enhancement requests, and defect fixes.
Implement and configure SAP WM (Warehouse Management) modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP WM with other SAP modules and external systems.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the SAP solutions meet business requirements and are free from defects.
Document all configurations, customisations, and procedures for future reference and compliance.What you should bring to the role?

Extensive experience in the field of warehouse management, specifically working on large and complex project.
Proven experience in SAP WM and/or EWM implementation and configuration.
Experience working on third party integrations.
Experience with design and implementation of Fiori apps.
Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes in the water industry or similar sectors.
SAP certification in Warehouse Management or Logistics. 
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.What's in it for you?

IR35 determination: Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid, Reading
Length of assignment: 6 Months with a view to extend
