About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Lead to join a leading manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant business transformation.
The business is currently carving out from a sister company and requires an SAP SD Lead to help stabilise the existing SAP landscape while supporting its wider S/4HANA transformation.
This is a hands-on role where you will act as the SAP Sales & Distribution SME, taking ownership of the SD solution, supporting business requirements and delivering configuration changes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and take ownership of the SAP SD function.

Support the carve-out programme and stabilisation of the existing SAP environment.
*
Provide hands-on SAP SD configuration and functional expertise.
*
Work with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver SAP solutions.
*
Support the organisation's S/4HANA transformation.
*
Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP SD issues.
*
Support testing, implementation and continuous system improvements.
*
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
*
Provide guidance on SAP SD processes, best practices and solution design.
About You
*
Strong SAP SD experience with excellent knowledge of end-to-end Sales & Distribution processes.
*
Proven hands-on SAP configuration experience.
*
Previous experience with S/4HANA transformation or implementation.
*
Experience in system stabilisation, optimisation or transformation projects.
*
Strong understanding of order-to-cash (OTC) processes.
*
Manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
*
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
*
Able to work independently and take ownership of the SAP SD landscape.
