???? Industrial Environment | Mechanical Engineering | BOAS & Pressure Systems
We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to take responsibility for the safe operation, isolation and maintenance of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on steam, boilers and pressure systems.
???? Key Responsibilities
* ⚙️ Act as Mechanical SAP/AP for designated systems.
* ???? Oversee steam, boiler and pressure system activities.
* ???? Manage mechanical isolations and Permit to Work procedures.
* ???? Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
* ????️ Ensure statutory inspections and compliance requirements are met.
* ???? Carry out inspections, audits and technical checks.
* ????️ Provide technical support and assistance with mechanical faults.
* ???? Liaise with engineers, contractors and site management.
* ???? Maintain accurate engineering and compliance records.
* ???? Ensure all work is completed safely and to required standards.
???????? Requirements
* ⚙️ Proven experience as a Mechanical SAP / AP.
* ???? Strong steam, boiler and pressure systems experience.
* ???? Recognised mechanical engineering qualification or time-served background.
* ???? Experience with Permit to Work and mechanical isolation procedures.
* ???? Strong knowledge of RAMS and safe systems of work.
* ????️ Understanding of statutory compliance and pressure systems safety.
* ???? Experience within industrial, manufacturing or other highly regulated environments.
* ???? Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
BOAS qualification is desirable but not essential; strong steam experience is essential.
