Sample Storage Supervisor – Cryostorage
London - Full-time, fully onsite
Talentmark is partnering with a leading biotechnology research organisation to hire a Sample Storage Supervisor to oversee a busy cryostorage facility supporting early-phase studies. This is a permanent, fully on-site role.
The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on role with real ownership – managing sample storage, inventory, compliance (GxP/HTA), and coordinating shipments in a highly regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone used to working in a smaller environments.
Key focus areas:
Lead the operational management of a laboratory storage and cryostorage facility.
Oversee sample and material storage, ensuring capacity aligns with business and client needs.
Maintain full ownership of inventory systems, ensuring complete accuracy and traceability.
Regulatory compliance (GxP, HTA).
Act as Person Designate, supporting HTA licence responsibilities.
Shipment coordination (incl. Dangerous Goods).Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
Proven experience managing sample storage within a laboratory or clinical research environment.
Strong expertise in inventory and sample management systems.
Solid understanding of GxP and HTA regulatory frameworks.
Experience overseeing or managing lab facilities (desirable).
Prior experience as a Person Designate or involvement with HTA licensing (advantageous).Why Apply?
