Description:
My client are urgently looking for a SALTstack engineer for an ongoing project.
* Working with SALTstack writing SALT states to update our platforms on our engines running both in Linux and Windows.
* In the lead of setting up our physical test environment simulating the engine room on the vessel and help us test and verify our software packages.
* Working with the team to setup our Linux based server and take care of the security of this.
* Part of designing and developing our Engine LAN network between devices on board as well as the customer owned satellite connections.
* Taking part in the entire product development, all the way from designing the architecture to development and operations of the product.
And
* Have Experience with SALTstack, Ansible, Puppet or similar.
* Are comfortable in Linux and have some experience setting up Linux servers.
* Have experience with GitHub and preferably also GitHub Actions.
* Are used to different Scripting languages such as Python, YAML, PowerShell or similar.
* Have some experience in setting up firewalls and designing and managing a small network setup.
* Love automating processes and by this eliminate the room for errors.
This is mainly remote based with 1 weeks every 6-8 weeks onsite. Please send your CV and call for more information as the client is ready to interview immediately
