Join a leading UK housing association as the Salesforce Platform Architect, taking ownership of an established Salesforce environment supporting over 3,000 internal users and 50,000 community users. This is a hands-on architecture role focused on Field Service, Agentforce and enterprise-scale digital transformation, with the opportunity to shape future platform strategy and mentor a growing team.

With an established Salesforce platform at the heart of its digital strategy, the organisation is investing heavily in its digitisation agenda and seeking a senior architect to drive the next phase of platform evolution.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Digitisation, the Salesforce Platform Architect will lead the design, governance and development of the organisation's Salesforce ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

Owning the Salesforce architecture roadmap and technical strategy
Designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions across Salesforce clouds
Providing architectural guidance and governance to development teams
Leading implementation and optimisation of Salesforce Field Service capabilities
Supporting the introduction and adoption of Agentforce
Driving integration with Microsoft 365 and other enterprise systems
Improving case management, workflow automation and resource allocation processes
Mentoring Salesforce engineers and developers to enhance technical capability across the functionThis is a predominantly remote position with occasional travel (once a month) to Preston.

Profile

The successful candidate will bring strong Salesforce architecture expertise and a hands-on approach to solution design and delivery.

You will have:

Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or Senior Salesforce Engineer
Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practice architecture
Experience with Salesforce Field Service
Exposure to Agentforce or Salesforce AI-driven technologies
Salesforce certifications (Architect-level certifications highly desirable)
Experience of integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills
A passion for mentoring and developing technical teamsCandidates must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.
