Are you an experienced sales professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career?
We're recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to join a well-established and growing business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for motivating a small team, driving performance, and ensuring high-quality sales opportunities are generated for the wider business.
The Role
As a Sales Team Leader, you'll lead a team of four sales executives, coaching and supporting them to achieve their targets while maintaining high standards of customer engagement. You'll also remain involved in outbound sales activity, leading by example and helping to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop a team of four sales executives.
* Monitor team performance against KPIs and sales targets.
* Make outbound calls to prospective and existing business customers.
* Generate qualified sales opportunities for the field sales team.
* Arrange appointments and demonstrations for senior sales colleagues.
* Follow up warm enquiries and previous quotations.
* Build strong customer relationships and identify business needs.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
* Handle objections confidently and professionally.
* Support outbound sales campaigns and business development initiatives.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
* Previous experience leading a sales, telesales, internal sales or contact centre sales team.
* A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A confident and professional telephone manner.
* Strong organisational and IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* A proactive, self-motivated and results-focused approach.
Desirable:
* B2B sales experience.
* Experience working to KPIs and performance targets.
