Sales Operations Coordinator

Location – Gateshead

The Role

This is a pivotal role at the centre of the organisation’s commercial operations. As Sales Operations, you will act as the link between Sales, Operations and Finance ensuring that everything promised to clients is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

With a lean, high‑performing sales team, the success of client relationships depends on someone who owns the commercial calendar, keeps all moving parts aligned, and ensures nothing falls through the gaps. You will manage the contract lifecycle from signature through to renewal, coordinate annual reviews, and work closely with internal teams to keep client relationships running smoothly.

This is a key commercial role for someone who takes pride in making things happen and wants to be central to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Renewal Management

* Own and maintain the contract schedule across the full client base, ensuring all key dates are tracked and actioned

* Lead the coordination of contract renewals, working with Finance on invoicing and with Sales on scope

* Ensure renewal conversations are initiated early and followed through to completion

Client Reviews & Account Coordination

* Organise and coordinate annual client reviews with Sales, Operations and internal teams

* Prepare review materials, track agreed actions and ensure follow‑ups are completed

* Act as a reliable point of contact for clients on operational and commercial matters, escalating where required

Internal Coordination

* Work closely with Operations to ensure service delivery aligns with contracted scope

* Liaise with Finance on renewals, billing queries and revenue tracking

* Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure visibility of pipeline and account status

* Support the preparation of proposals, quotations and presentations

Sales Support

* Assist with new business activity including research, lead tracking and correspondence

* Attend client calls, meetings and industry events

* Travel for events and trade shows as required

* Over time, take responsibility for managing a portfolio of accounts

What We’re Looking For

* Highly organised, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines

* Confident communicator across clients, internal teams and senior stakeholders

* A natural completer‑finisher who takes ownership and follows through

* Commercially aware with the ability to understand contracts and renewal terms

* Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

* Experience in commercial operations, account management support or sales coordination is desirable
