Sales Representative

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 negotiable based on experience + travel allowance + bonuses

Location: London

Working pattern: Mon-Fri, 5 days on site for first 3 months, flexibility thereafter

We're on the lookout for a Sales Representative based in London who embodies enthusiasm and a customer-centric approach to join our client's expanding team.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of actively generating and qualifying leads to propel deals forward for our Business Development team. You'll excel in identifying and comprehending their customer's business requirements within the product portfolio, shaping needs and translating them into compelling value propositions centred around the company's services and solutions.

As our client grows its presence in the UK market, they need someone who can passionately engage with clients and contribute to their market expansion efforts.

About the Department:

The Sales organisation oversees the entire sales cycle, from business development to account management. This involves everything from initiating contact with prospects to exploring new avenues to enhance services for existing clients. Their team comprises diverse professionals brimming with ambition, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement.

Role requirement:

This role offers autonomy, the liberty to act, drive, and a sense of accountability, all while maintaining a strong commercial focus. You will:

Take the lead in generating leads through targeted outreach efforts
Utilise internal and external tools such as LinkedIn and Apollo to accomplish this
Direct qualified prospects to the appropriate Account Manager or Business Development Manager for further nurturing and eventual closure
Cultivate, protect, and exchange/share valuable account insights, domain expertise, and market knowledgeEssential skills:

Technical sales experience - Infrastructure sales is desirable but not essential
12-18 months minimum sales experience
Proven phone/cold calling experience
Pareto or Softcat experience is desirable
