The Sales & Procurement Manager is an exciting new position operating from our client’s office in the North West of England, developed to support the company's exciting growth phase. A multifaceted role, you will be highly personable, confident at spinning plates and working in the fast paced environment. With a solid understanding of the agricultural sector, particularly dairy, you will thrive in building and fostering relationships with suppliers and farm customers. Role Responsibilities:

* To build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and a growing customer base

* To negotiate with ingredient suppliers on price, quality and delivery to meet the needs of the business

* To review and refine the procurement process, enhancing efficiency and streamlining operations

* To undertake routine administration work, in line with the requirements of the position

* To assist and support in product formulations (training will be provided)

* To understand the needs of the customer base, managing the sale and supply of products to farm customers

* To support and collaborate with the wider team when required

* To attend shows and exhibitions, promoting the brand and product range to the industry

Skills you will need:
Essential:

* Experience and/or knowledge of sales or procurement environments

* An understanding and knowledge of the agricultural sector, preferably with a passion for dairy

* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal

* Highly professional with an excellent telephone manner

* Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong business relationships

* Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and figures

* The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

* Ambitious, eager and willing to learn and develop new skills for career progression

* Proficient IT skill, confident in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

* UK driving licence with the desire to travel

Remuneration: A competitive salary and package, commensurate with the candidate's experience
