An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter to join this well-established business based in Sutton in Ashfield on a permanent basis as a Sales & Procurement Administrator.

Reporting into the Director, you will be responsible for:

* Managing and communicating with designated customer accounts and to manage all communication with customers on these accounts

* Liaise with the Sales Director and Sales managers on an as required basis

* Obtain sales forecasts from customers and to work with the Company’s buying function to ensure that orders are placed with suppliers in line with these forecasts and on-going customer demand

* Assist the Sales Director and Sales managers in administering samples and with day-to-day sales related activities

* Manage all day-to-day communications with designated customer accounts, including but not limited to price increases, delivery queries and any customer complaints and to ensure that all communication to them is delivered in a timely and professional manner

* Build and maintain successful and long-lasting relationships with customers, to understand their needs and to use these relationships to assist in maintaining sales to them through increased volumes of current products and by identifying opportunities for new products

* Review stock levels and orders placed with suppliers for products taken on designated accounts and to work with the company’s buying and stock control function to ensure that stock is available to meet customer lead times at the forecast levels agreed with the customer

* Process any customer enquiries for products, including obtaining quotes and delivery timescales from suppliers and issuing quotations to customers in a timely manner

* Responsible for sending samples to customers on behalf of sales managers and to follow these up with customers as required

* Produce and issue stock reports to customers on behalf of the Sales Director and Sales managers

* Learn the Company’s business system and be the sales lead and provide information related to stock and customer orders to the Sales team as required

* Complete all the Company’s internal documentation to enable new products to be processed on to the Company’s business system

* Participate in in-house sales meetings as required

* Assist the Sales Director, and the company with ad-hoc activities

This is a brand-new role within the company, they have 25 days holiday plus stats, hours of work 9:00am - 5:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch (this is office based 5 days a week) a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 plus plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and progress.
